The laser enables us to achieve some really dramatic results for soft tissue. By sealing blood vessels, lymphatic vessels and nerve endings, my laser enables me to operate with a dry surgical field; meanwhile, the clinical benefits of reduced pain, minimal bleeding and faster recovery for my patients cannot be stressed enough… the CO2 wavelength is far superior for the soft-tissue surgeries I’m doing.

I absolutely love my Lightscalpel…the actual laser and the company. This tool has changed my practice 100% for the better. It has allowed me to use this latest technology to provide the best possible care for my pediatric patients. Besides the great product, the customer service is top notch as well! I had that tested this week as I had a problem with my unit. The representative was right there to answer all my questions ASAP and is sending out a replacement piece so I don’t have to have this impact my patient schedule. They are a terrific company and I am a customer for life!

After 5 years doing frenectomies with electrosurgery and testing different lasers, I finally arrived with the optimal solution. LightScalpel is the most efficient soft tissue laser I have tried. Working with kids and infants I can’t recommend a better one.

The LightScalpel is the finest instrument I have used for performing tongue and lip-tie surgeries as well as many other procedures. I use it at least four times a day. Before, we were using a diode laser and it doesn’t even compare. Before, a frenectomy would take around a minute or more. Now with the LightScalpel, it’s about 20 seconds. The moms report less pain for their babies (they eat better and are less fussy). In addition, the service from the company is first class. I had an issue with the laser after the first month, which they told me is rare, but they overnight shipped another unit and repaired mine at no cost. They are easy to contact and ask questions, and Gail, the sales rep, flew to our office for a no obligation test drive which was a great help. She showed us how to set it up and made sure we were comfortable with the settings. She helped us get comfortable using it on nine patients while she was there coaching us and showing us the features. When I have any questions, Peter, the owner, is very accessible and responds promptly. An all-around classy company that stands by their great product.

The LightScalpel CO2 laser has been a true upgrade to our CO2 laser armamentarium. The device operates seamlessly and the new tipless handpiece allows us to change spot size easily and efficiently. We use the LightScalpel intraorally as well as on the facial skin for ablation as well as excision of lesions. It is ideal for blepharoplasty surgery, via both transconjunctival and transcutaneous approaches. Having used both, I find the flexible hollow wave guide to be far superior to the articulated arm of older style lasers.
It’s so much easier with the flexible waveguide… Using the waveguide, particularly inside the mouth… it’s like having a pencil in your hand. You just can’t do that with articulated arms ... Relative to CO2, there is simply a greater zone of necrotic tissue damage with electrocautery ... The laser has paid for itself a hundred-fold. I use it every day...

When I first got this 20 Watt LightScalpel machine I was hoping to have a good replacement for the old Luxar LX 20. However what I am really finding out is that this is not a replacement for that machine but truly a second-generation machine. This is a whole new level of CO2 laser. I am not easily impressed – congratulations!

Did a quad bleph and vaporized elevated lesions on face. Machine and variable spot size handpiece performed perfectly and air purge dialed down exactly as you showed me. Very cool machine. Definitely an upgrade! It’s the difference between a Chevy Malibu and a Bentley Continental GT…both good, reliable cars, but the Bentley gets you there quicker, more precisely, more comfortably and in Style, Babe!!
